Callands Cottage, West Linton
A substantial, detached cottage (sleeping up to eight) in an extensive garden close to Romanno Bridge near Peebles. At the heart of the cottage is a wonderful double-height sitting room with comfortable seating grouped around a wood-burning stove. Outside, the garden has a patio, a stable in the adjoining field (for guests’ use) and tennis courts which guests also have access to.
Scotstoun Farmhouse, West Linton
Hidden amongst the hills of the Scottish Borders, Scotstoun Farmhouse offers self-catering holiday accommodation deep in the heart of the 125-acre grounds of Scotstoun House. The beautifully renovated farmhouse is situated in the 18th century former farm steading. Accommodation comprises four bedrooms which comfortably sleep six people. Although secluded, the towns of West Linton and Peebles are both close by.
Merklands Wood Luxury Lodges, Dolphinton
Two bespoke self-catering lodges (Alder and Aspen), each sleeping up to six people plus an infant, set in 20 acres of private, secluded woodland. Spacious, relaxing and luxurious with log-burning stoves and hot tubs to relax in at the end of the day. Includes complimentary G&Ts using a unique blend of gin made with juniper berries grown in the Merklands Wood. Pet friendly.
Netherurd Garden House, Blyth Bridge
Netherurd Garden House boasts 18 accessible self-catering apartments set within two acres of private walled garden. Just 20 minutes drive from Peebles, enjoy a tranquil setting and explore all the outdoor activities and adventures the Tweed Valley has to offer. Apartments can be booked individually or exclusively for up to 40 people. Includes large recreational area and kitchen facilities. Private parking (suitable for coaches) and secure bike storage and maintenance/wash area available.
Castlehill Cabin, nr Peebles

Shiphorns Cabin, nr Peebles
Surrounded by breathtaking views and big skies, Shiphorns Cabin is a little slice of luxury heaven – a perfect place to relax and recharge as a couple, or an escape with family or friends. Peaceful and secluded, yet just a short trip from beautiful Peebles, there’s much to see and do all around, including fabulous walks, cycling and horse riding. There’s even a private hot tub for a relaxing soak at the end of a busy day.
Neidpath Barmkin, nr Peebles
Sleeping six in three bedrooms, this gorgeous and atmospheric cottage is the perfect spot for either a romantic getaway, or a family holiday. Cosy and inviting, the Barmkin nestles alongside Neidpath Castle in a truly exceptional location – close to the river, with a pretty cottage garden to add to its charm. Many Scottish baronial homes had ‘barmkins’– in this case a building that was once part of the castle’s defences.
Dilkusha, Peebles
Dilkusha is a handsome Victorian house built in 1897. It is set high on a hill in the centre of Peebles, with magnificent views of the town and surrounding countryside. The luxury accommodation is a separate flat on the lower ground floor of the building and consists of two bedrooms, lounge, kitchen, reading area, television and games room, bathroom and en-suite shower room. The flat is furnished to a very high standard, with solid oak flooring and a locally-built kitchen with Smeg appliances.
The Trail House, Glentress
The Trail House provides flexible, self-catered accommodation for up to 14 guests at the foot of Glentress. It’s an ideal base to enjoy all that the Tweed Valley has to offer. A spacious five-bedroom house, The Trail House sleeps up to 10. The next door Wee House sleeps up to four in two bedrooms. They can be rented together or separately. Secure bike storage & bike wash available. Dogs welcome.
Howford House, Traquair
A classical Georgian-style farmhouse, Howford sits in an elevated and private position overlooking the River Tweed in the heart of the Tweed Valley. Part of the Traquair Estate, Howford is a 10-minute walk to Traquair, Scotland’s Oldest Inhabited House. Traquair offers a range of exclusive offers to guests staying at Howford, including dining facilities in the 18th century Dining Room, use of the tennis court and discounted entry to the house and free entry to the grounds. Cleikum Mill Lodge, Innerleithen
Flexible self-catering accommodation with five twin rooms (sleeping 10 max). Excellent facilities include a secure internal bike store, large drying room and comfortable, practical accommodation with plenty of space. Short walk to cafes, pubs, local shops, supermarket and bike shops.
Room@1 Chapel Street, Innerleithen
Perfectly located in the heart of bustling Innerleithen, the former Corner House Hotel is nearing the end of a full refurbishment that will see seven individual boutique-style studios available for booking from June 2024. Beautifully designed, the studio rooms are all ensuite and come complete with a kitchenette and secure bike storage. There is also an excellent gastro pub and pizzeria available on the ground floor of the building. Room@1 Chapel Street is part of the Room in the Borders family, which includes similarly stylish studio accommodation in Galashiels, next door to the Great Tapestry of Scotland.
Cosaig Self Catering, Innerleithen
Comfortable, homely accommodation full of attention to detail for both two and four-legged guests! With two bedrooms and two shower rooms (the main one being an accessible wet room), the cottage is all on one level and is suitable for assisted wheelchair access. Children are most welcome, and the cottage has toys, games, a highchair and much more. Meanwhile, the enclosed garden and access to a park from the doorstep make for the perfect dog-friendly getaway.
Morningside Apartment, Innerleithen
A modern, one-bedroom self-catering apartment in the heart of Innerleithen. Sleeping up to three people (there’s also a fold-down bed), this first-floor accommodation is the perfect basecamp if you’re adventuring your way around the Tweed Valley. Close to walking and biking from the doorstep, plus just a 15-minute drive from Glentress Forest.
