Barony Castle, Eddleston
Originally built for the Murrays of Blackbarony and steeped in history, this imposing 16th century tower house has evolved into a modern hotel. Horseshoe Inn, Eddleston
Fabulous country pub in idyllic village setting. Passionate about food, plus excellent selection of real ales, craft beers and artisan gin. Family and dog friendly. Characterful collection of en-suite rooms housed in a converted Victorian schoolhouse just behind the main inn.
Cringletie Hotel, Peebles
An historic 28-acre estate originally established in 1666, and still with a functioning Walled Garden from that era, Cringletie is now a sumptuous hotel with 13 individually-appointed rooms and suites, including an accessible junior suite and a separate self-catering cottage in the grounds. The food is a bit special too, with the 2 AA Rosette Sutherland Restaurant the place to go for exquisite fine dining.
Stobo Castle Health Spa, Stobo
Scotland’s only destination spa offers a range of accommodation options, from the Cashmere Suite to separate lodges for larger parties. As well as premium spa treatments, guests can also enjoy a variety of healthy eating options, plus a cocktail lounge with gorgeous views of the countryside beyond.
The Crown Hotel, Peebles
A warm, welcoming and friendly hotel, restaurant and bar in the centre of Peebles. It has a strong local following for very good reason. As well as hotel rooms, the Crown also offers an excellent, self-contained flat that sleeps five (hearty breakfasts included).
The Neidpath Inn, Peebles
Lovely rooms in lively old town pub that marries inventive food with wide range of ales, craft beers, gin and whisky. Also the place to come for cracking live music.
The Cross Keys, Peebles
One of the Tweed Valley’s oldest inns – the building dates back to 1693 – the Cross Keys is now part of a modern hotel and pub chain, serving a wide range of food and drink over three, spacious storeys.
Tontine Hotel, Peebles
Situated in the heart of Peebles, the Tontine is a family-run hotel with 36 ensuite bedrooms, secure bike storage, drying room, free WiFi and private parking. Known for excellent food and service, the Tontine is the perfect place to enjoy quality time with friends and family.
Green Tree Hotel, Peebles
Long established, family-run hotel and pub serving good food in a central location opposite the Eastgate Theatre.
Park Hotel, Peebles

Four-star hotel complex with 99 rooms, plus a variety of eating and drinking options, many of which feature views over the golf course and forested hills beyond.
Traquair Arms Hotel, Innerleithen
In the heart of Innerleithen, just 200m from the River Tweed and close to many walking and biking trails. 15 guest rooms in the main building, plus self-catering cottages and secure bike storage. Also serves hearty, home-cooked food served in busy restaurant and two bars well stocked with local beers.
St Ronan’s Hotel, Innerleithen
This small, family run hotel and pub on Innerleithen High Street has an excellent restaurant, cosy bar and large beer garden. Known as the ‘top pub’ by locals.
Corner House Hotel, Innerleithen
Conveniently located, the Corner House Hotel offers affordable ensuite accommodation in the heart of Innerleithen. All seven bedrooms are available on a room-only basis in summer 2023 – with bigger refurbishment plans in the pipeline for later in the year. Watch this space!

Bright, spacious rooms in laid-back, 18th century coaching inn in the heart of Clovenfords. Serves top-notch pub food (including possibly the biggest burgers in the Tweed Valley).
